Woke up this morning and my head was numb / Put on my coat with nowhere to run
Walked to the corner where the store was closed / I wandered home (again) with nothing at all
Staring forever at an empty fridge / Try not to notice what condition it’s in
Flip on the TV, the remote was dead / I’ve got some batteries around somewhere
But I’m not moving....
You....so into you
So I decided to go out once more / But now my keys aren’t where they were before
Gathered laundry and I stubbed my toe / I kicked the doorway and I fell on the clothes
I couldn’t find the place for several blocks / For all the miles that I had to walk
And when I got there you know I was late / Wasn’t that interested anyways….just passing time till…..
You….now I’m with you….we laugh it off and then we sleep
Sleep
All my gifts are slow
All my gifts are so ordinary
Sleep
Woke up this morning and my head was numb / Put on my coat with nowhere to run
Into the garden where the flowers grow / Didn’t see anyone that I know
There were hours that i just stared at the wall / Thinking of nothing at all
but how I want to share it all with you / we’re gonna see it through forever and...
You…all into you...
We laugh it off and then we sleep
Sleep
All my gifts are slow
All my gifts are so ordinary
Sleep
